Ontworpen door Neil Poulton. De LaCie d2 Quadra Enterprise Class is de meest volledige oplossing voor professionals die een robuuste harde schijf nodig hebben die meerdere taken aankan. Naast een SATA Enterprise-schijf die borg staat voor robuuste prestaties, biedt hij eveneens als optie 128-bits hardware-encryptie, waarmee u uw gegevens kunt beschermen tegen toegang door onbevoegden. Dankzij kabels met 24K-vergulde contacten kunt u rekenen op gegevensoverdracht van hoge kwaliteit; hierdoor is de LaCie d2 Quadra Enterprise Class de volmaakte alles-in-één-oplossing voor professionals die flexibele, snelle opslag nodig hebben.
De interne Enterprise Class-schijf die deel uitmaakt van de LaCie d2 Quadra Enterprise Class heeft een cachegeheugen van 32 mb, een draaisnelheid van 7200 rpm en een betrouwbaarheidsniveau van maar liefst 1,2 miljoen uur MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure -- gemiddelde tijd tussen storingen).
